The power of government is being used to retaliate for harmless speech and harmless ridicule of the president and his administration. Who would have thought we would ever get to this point in our country!  Never before Trump would we have had any hesitation in criticizing our government!  Once you find yourself hesitating to voice dissent, ridicule, or any other harmless criticism based on fear of government reprisal, your freedom of speech has been lost--not that it will be lost; it has been lost!  I am sure that no person signed this petition without some fear of negative consequences imposed by our federal government.  I have spoken with a few people that agree with petition but have not signed out of fear of government retaliation--and a few persons that have signed but are concerned that the government may impose sanctions on them for their having signed.  Unthinkable prior to the rot coming from the Trump administration!  We are in a bad place!  Please continue to do what you can to promote the petition.  Thanks!
