There are currently 21 people actively campaigning to be the next President Of the United States.   

The insiders want the freshness of the outsiders and the outsiders want the knowledge of the insiders.  It has digressed into a sadly satirical battle fueled by celebrity endorsements and cable morning show dance contests.

As we search for someone to take Our Great Country into the future, I propose a new framework for which to judge the competency of our potential leaders.   One that doesn't allow a candidate to be on "the inside" one day and "on the outside" the next.  One that is clear, thought out, yet simple to understand, one that is consumable for every America, one that fundamentally disallows flip-flopping because it is rooted in the first principles of basic physics.   

I believe the best qualification for leading Our Great Country into the future is having been to the future before.  Who better to lead us into 2017 than someone who has already lived in 2017?

I propose that the fundamental questions of Our Country's potential future leaders should be:

1.  Do you currently or have you ever had access to a time machine?

2.  Are you able to consistently produce 1.21 gigawatts of carbon neutral, clean energy?

A simple decision making framework rooted in undeniable truths.  This is what Our Great Country needs.
