BREAKING NEWS

Your support has been extraordinary, we received over 2000 signatures (in less than 48 hours) on the petition and many of you have written to the Administration to express your concerns. Many of you have written notes about what this class, the instructors and the guest speakers have meant to you and how it has impacted your life and your careers. In your reflections, you have indicated how your lives have been deeply impacted by this class and remain impacted after so many years! Your sharing has been passionate, beautiful, heartfelt and, on behalf of everyone who contributes to this class, your notes and your actions have been quite touching! We all feel the love, thank you!
The good news is that it has just come to our attention that the Homelessness Class is now listed for enrollment for the Fall 2020 Term. Your efforts are working, but our concerns are not over. Administration, has yet to reply to our concerns, they have not indicated why 5 sections of the course were cancelled this Spring, they have not indicated why the Fall courses were not originally listed, they have not indicated if the course will be the same or changed, nor have they been in communication with the instructors of the course. We celebrate the fact that this class is now listed, but we still ask that you remain diligent while we wait to hear more. For now, take pride in your actions, without your support this course may have died a silent death. The first step has been accomplished; we now eagerly wait for Administration to respond to our concerns and to commit to this course, and the way in which it is taught, for the future.
