It appears we have failed in out attempt to stop the slaughter of these brumbies with the NSW Government today issuing a media release planning to undertake a massive cull which includes shooting. I urge all of you to contact the NSW Government to stop this appalling cull that is based on agenda driven science by our seemingly left wing driven political parties. We have just celebrated ANZAC day and remembered not only those who bravely fought and died but also the 130,000 Australian horses/brumbies that carried our soldiers into battle only to end up being shot and left in the desert as the government did not want to spend the money to bring them home. Now the poor brumby is facing annihilation again by the NSW Government at the end of a barrel to be blown away and to only live on in our history books. They say that they will leave 600, but as they have not been able to accurately estimate their numbers, as left wing reports over the last few years have fluctuated between 3000 and 15000, but now they have settled on 6000. A more accurate number would probably be 2000-2500 in an area that spans 1,700,000 acres or 6900 sq km , which will mean they will be all culled!
