There has been an important development in the fight for answers for Nolan Xavier Wells.
The Congressional Black Caucus has formally urged U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel to launch an independent federal review into the circumstances surrounding Nolan Wells’ disappearance and death. The request asks the Department of Justice to determine whether additional federal investigative resources, federal jurisdiction, or a federal investigation—including under applicable civil rights laws—may be warranted.
🇺🇸 THE DOJ HAS CONFIRMED RECEIPT OF THE REQUEST.
The Department of Justice has confirmed that it received the Congressional Black Caucus' letter and stated that it is ensuring the appropriate personnel within the Department are reviewing it carefully.
This is significant—but it is important to be accurate.
The DOJ has not announced that it has opened a full federal investigation into Nolan Wells' death. At this point, the federal government has received and is reviewing the request for independent federal involvement.
That means the call for action continues.
