Dusty Turner is currently up for parole. 

We believe that Dustin is the best candidate for parole compared to any other incarcerated individual in the state of Virginia.

Dustin has been incarcerated for 28 years, since the age of 20 years old. He has never shown any signs of aggression or violence as a child, or as an adult. He continues to advocate for peace on the inside, mentoring fellow inmates.  

Mr. Turner has expressed 
remorse and regret and has the support of his community if he is granted parole. He has shown that he will be a productive member in society by his actions: self- improvement, continuing education, creating and participating in numerous programs, living restoratively, and through spiritual transcendence. 

Before his conviction, he never had any interactions with law enforcement or with the criminal justice system.
