Lord God:

We honour our Southern ancestors when we seek you and your guidance. May we never bring dishonour upon you or them by allowing our actions to do anything less than bring you praise!

Thank you for giving us such a glorious heritage that we can be proud to carry on and share with our children and grandchildren! May we express our desire for liberty and freedom by first acknowledging our complete dependence on you if our cause is to succeed! In the Holy name of Jesus do we pray.
