Cecil Cooper was a pivotal part of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers World Series team.  Every award that he received in his prestigious career was won as a Brewer.  His list of awards include:

5-time All-Star,

2-time Gold Glove Winner,

3-time Silver Slugger Award,

2- AL RBI Leader,

and last but not least, the Roberto Clemente Award.

His batting average was .302 as a Brewer, and every took 2nd place for the highest batting average in the AL with .352.  Cooper always had a roar of “COOOOOOP” every time he came to bat, and was beloved by many fans.  It’s time that his number is placed on the Wall next to all the other greats in the outfield!  #15 should be retired or acknowledged for everything he has done for the organization!
