The latest news is that we now have a majority of councillors supporting the motion. However, things can change very quickly when the lobbying gets tough.

So, please attend the Council meeting next Wednesday 23rd October, 4:00 pm at the Armidale council chambers and show the extent of the support base,  that we are serious and we will not back away from our intent.

The other good news is that our collective voices have reached the Labor party who will push federal Parliament to declare a climate emergency at a national level on Tuesday.

As more and more councils declare a climate emergency, the pressure up the chain increases.
