We are delighted to report that the Roxy Theatre Action Group was today awarded the 2020 National Trust Heritage Award for Advocacy.
Thanks to everyone for your support so far!
Our Group's aim has always been two pronged: first to save the Roxy site from over-development; and second to have the theatre restored as a 1,500 seat lyric theatre able to stage blockbuster live shows.
We will continue lobbying the City of Parramatta Council and the State government for their support to ensure the Roxy is acquired and restored back to its original grandeur for the community.
