50 thousand people agree that something really needs to change at Riot Games. That real action needs to take place in order for people to love the game again. These last few years have been awful compared to the golden years where we didn’t feel like we were constantly being fooled and manipulated by a greedy ceo that puts profit above players. Not to mention that even after the “changes” and reverts, an additional 10 thousand people still support the decision that Dylan Jadeja should be removed and the others below him should be held accountable as well. We as the players are not greedy. We have created expectations because we have SEEN how amazing Rioters are when they are allowed to be, not when they are made to create skins and the such that feel uninspired, lackluster, and overall low quality. Don’t think we have forgotten the massive amount of people that were laid off, each and every one of them was integral to the company, and for things to go downhill at an unprecedented rate clearly shows how important they all were. We understand not everything about this game is about skins (although there is no denying that it’s a huge part of it), but it’s about the integrity and how patterns over time show that in the aftermath of everything that has happened since Dylan Jadejas’ rise to ceo, nothing feels genuine anymore. Things are given to us at just the right amount, that we are made to believe that next time will be better, that they’ll do better, that they are listening to us and making quality adjustments, when years prior they rarely had to do that because they were on top of their game at a consistent level. Yes there were some bumps in the road, especially during the early years of covid (we all remember the ruination event), but even then things felt like they were made with love and affection. Thank you again everyone for supporting this petition. We do not intend on stopping. We will continue fighting. This game does not deserve to die. There are so many players and artists I have seen who absolutely love this game and its characters with all of thier heart, and now it seems a lot of them are having trouble staying with it, and for good reasons. I believe that love, joy, and genuine creation can come back to fill the rift without the worry of if it’s being predatory or manipulative. We all have to work together and make our voices and demands heard. We will reach 100k and beyond before you know it. We just have to spread the word and inform people of what has happened and what could be once we reach our final goal.
