40 Thousand signatures.

I want you to take a moment to fully grasp how many people out there like yourselves truly care about this game showing their support in this petition. We are nearing half of 100 THOUSAND supporters. I know I made an update talking about how I wouldn’t make so many updates close to another unless they are significant, not saying that this one isn’t, another 10,000 in a single day is amazing, it’s just that now, more than ever we need to come together and gather more support. 

Yesterday‘s riot dev showed that a lot of people really cared about the hextech chests, while I’m not dismissing that because I cared about that as well, that people shouldn’t have to pay for rewards, they should have free opportunities, this fight is more than just that. This fight is about the scummy nature that the company has showed since Dylan Jadeja came into power. A man who only wants short-term profit for the company, who will throw its players under the bus as well as its employees just to make more money. 

This kind of pattern is clear in the gaming world where a company will take away options or resources that clearly players love, only to bring them back after massive backlash and call it a victory. This is not a true victory at all. We still have exulted skins. We still have lackluster skins. We still have battle passes at are far from good. We still have a scummy ceo that will (in time) make more decisions that’ll damage the reputation and divide the community. If the chests clearly were damaging enough to their company, they wouldn’t bring it back, so they were forced to lie, saying that it was damaging their profits only to bring them back and apologize saying they “messed up“. By lowering the cost of champions, slightly changing how often we get the chests, as well as bringing back the yourshop and telling us they are taking more time to fix mordes new skin, they are only putting a Band-Aid on the massive wound they made and hope you all forget and move on.

Again, I cannot stress this enough, we HAVE to get more supporters than ever to remind them that this isn’t over we HAVE to do something about this. The only way we can do that is to get enough people together, make a real set of plans, and go through with it. Please please please, spread this petition around, spread the word, to every corner of the internet, big and small. Share that we have a discord where we talk, support one another, and will make a course of action when the time comes when we have enough people. We can’t do it without your help. This company will just continue to do what they want until we truly fight back, what we got yesterday is only a drop in the massive bucket.

And to all who have been commenting, I’ve read (and will continue to read) every single one and it warms my heart how much you all care, no matter which corner of the world you have come from. And to those who made video comments, thank you as well. Reading your stories of how much you’ve played from years prior and how frustrated you are about how things have become really shows that you really really do care about this game maybe more maybe less than others, but that doesn’t matter, the fact that you care about something other than yourself shows how human you are.
