Greetings fellow Aquamation supporters!
I hope you are staying cozy and have taken the time to rest through the holiday season and into these first few days of 2022.
This update is an important one. Lower impact disposition options are needed now, and for future generations to come. Desmond Tutu recognized this and chose aquamation recently.
Thank you so much for signing and hopefully, sharing this petition! In the spirit of giving back to Mother Earth, will you please take the next step and chip in what you can?
If just 20 people chip in $2 (less than the average cup of coffee), Change.org will distribute this petition to 2,000 potential supporters. Imagine how quickly we could get to 5,000 signatures, giving us a higher chance of getting aquamation approved in BC (and everywhere else)! Together, we can make this happen!
Aquamation isn't the only lower impact option that needs to be made available everywhere. Read more about Archbishop Tutu's choice and Natural Organic Reduction (aka Human Composting) in this blog post from Return Home, based in Washington.
Thank you again for your continued support, and best wishes for 2022!
With gratitude,
Madeline
