Life hanging in the balance: Bangladeshi blogger faces deportation

Bangladeshi bloggers continue to seek asylum around the world, after the recent spate of brutal murders by Islamist militants. Community group Progressive Atheists Inc, based in Melbourne, Australia has launched a campaign to assist one such blogger gain clemency after his application for asylum has been denied by the Australian government.
This week an open letter has been sent to The Honorable Peter Dutton, MP, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, pleading for clemency for this blogger who has already survived one brutal attempt on his life.
Signatories include international and national organisations who are in solidarity against the brutal harms of Islamism, whilst working together to promote peace, harmony and freedoms for all.
"We, the undersigned, are incredibly concerned about the plight of the afore mentioned blogger, fearing his life is in grave danger should he be returned to Bangladesh."
