I have just got off the phone with the department of Foreign Affairs and Transport in Canberra, and they are sending consular representatives to met with our SB Team and hear their concerns. This is fabulous news! I must say that my contacts down at DFAT Canberra and in Chennai have been doing a fantastic job of getting us what we need and have been a major support for me, in this very tricky situation. So please know our Government are helping, including the Hon Julie Bishop, we just need to support them in seeking more Indian assistance on the ground, and that is certainly well on the way to happening. Thank you EVERYONE! Thank you DFAT, thank you Minister, thank you SB TEAM. However, we still need to find Toni. I will keep you all posted on our progress. Go TEAM AUSTRALIA! Part of the reason I started this petition, apart from drawing attention to my mother's case, was to give her many friends associates and the people she has helped in the past, a chance to voice their concerns. It is also a show of support from Australia to our SB investigating TEAM on the ground in India, to let them know Australia has their back.
