School students demand a change to packaging laws to reduce pollution.

Pollution is a real problem that is wrecking our planet. One cause is the amount of waste produced by packaging that is unnecessary. Far too much of the wrong materials are used. Just think of the amount garbage taken out to the bins each year at Christmas, and consider the amount of time it took to unwrap those toys. Think about the food that comes home from the supermarket. Wouldn't it be nice to have a biscuit without using a chainsaw to get to it!
We demand the government takes action to ensure companies who sell their products in Australia are minimising the use of polystyrene and plastic packaging that is harming our world and our future.
