Keep calm and Bring Back Botany Bay

It has been three weeks since the launch and we have still to hear what exactly the State Government will decide about forced amalgamations. The latest reporting suggests the Government will abandon future amalgamations and de-amalgamate only those Councils in the bush and the regions. The fact that the Government has had to concede ground proves that there is hope for us. Especially if the Government goes ahead with the hypocrisy of leaving the likes of Mosman and Woollahra Councils untouched while we have to suffer through the amalgamation with Rockdale!
