PLEASE BAN THE CONSUMPTION OF DOG MEAT IN BALI. There are people randomly stealing street dogs (& pet dogs) to supply Balinese restaurants with dog meat- that sometimes ends up on tourists plates. These poor dogs meet a cruel death either being bludgeoned, strangled or poisoned. There is NO regulation, so they are sometimes kept tied up, feet bound & mouths tied, with no water or food for up to a week before their lonely deaths. They sometimes have Rabies & other diseases so also pose a health risk to anyone who unknowingly consumes the meat. The dogs are treated cruelly until their final moments. We are calling on the Governor of Bali to Please stop the Dog Meat Trade in Bali.
