This petition is to stop the sale of fireworks to the general public. Fireworks night is the 5th of November; people shouldn't be subjected to them going off any time between October and the start of December. The noise from fireworks can be terrifying for young children and pets, and generally annoying for everyone else. With the amount of free or reasonably priced professional displays that are available these days there's no justification for continuing to sell them. They are also dangerous in the wrong hands.
