With permission granted, I’d like to tell you all my sisters story. She was happily preparing for the birth of her first child, counting down the days until she can finally find out if its a boy or girl! She spent her time picking baby names and what not until she was assaulted by a man who forcefully entered her home it moved her placenta and her waters started leaking, our little man fought for 2 whole weeks until his little heart gave up, at 19/20 weeks our jamie was born sleeping, the monster who caused his death will get away with it, the only charges against him being the assault ones on the mother- there is no law in the UK to protect unborn children under 24 weeks, with the help of all of you we hope to change this- one signature at a time. To respect my sisters privacy, we did not mention anything to do with her or my precious nephew jamie in our original draft but she wants change, no one should have to go through what she is and it’s destroying me seeing her go through it. This petition feels like my only way to take some of her pain away and it warms my heart to see so many signing!! Thank you all for your support
