With your past help, Myrtle was granted a visa - but only for another two weeks (until 24 May)!
Without your help, her stay will become unlawful in two weeks' time and she will be at risk of being sent back to South Africa where she has nobody to look after her!
Please help Myrtle with a donation - however small - to help her stay in the UK with her only daughter:
Here is a message from Mary, Myrtle's daughter:
"My Mum is at risk again of being separated from me. I have lost my beloved husband Dave last year and it has been very hard. My Mum is the only one I have left - and I am the only one she has left.
I appeal to you from the bottom of my heart to help my Mum stay with me by helping with the costs for our campaign including the costs for another Home Office application, fees, medical reports, etc to fight for her right to stay. Any donation, however small, is a life saver!
We cannot do this without your support! Your kind help in the past has kept my Mum safe with me. Please donate today to help her stay.
With heartfelt thanks,
Mary
PS: All donations will be used for this campaign to help Myrtle remain in the UK including covering legal costs, costs for medical reports, legal advice in immigration & nationality law, applicable Home Office fees and fundraising & campaigning fees & costs. If thereafter any money remains, it will either be used for Myrtle’s legal expenses in the future or as emergency funding to assist Mary & Myrtle during this difficult time after the heartbreaking loss of Dave, Mary's husband of 33 years, who was a frontline worker working part-time as a super market cashier during the pandemic despite suffering from Parkinson's disease and who helped the family both emotionally and financially. He died on 13th May 2020. He will be sorely missed having been a pillar of strength for both Mary and Myrtle. May he rest in peace.
