You helped Myrtle stay with her daughter Mary over 2 years ago. After your wonderful support, the Government granted her leave to remain on human rights grounds for 2.5 years. But her leave is about to expire and she has to apply again.
And even though it is against her human rights to remove her, Myrtle has to pay a huge visa fee to remain for another 30 months namely £1,033. In total, she has to pay £5,488 in visa fees to the Home Office until she can stay indefinitely!
But this is impossible for her & her family: Myrtle obviously can't work, her 68-year-old daughter Mary lives on a small pension, and Mary’s 62-year-old husband David suffers from Parkinson’s and battles on working part-time as a cashier in a supermarket.
We think it's unreasonable and unfair for Myrtle and others in her position to have to pay huge visa fees when it would breach their human rights to have to leave and call upon the Government to scrap these fees.
For this reasons we have started another petition and hope you will support it so that Myrtle will not be obliged to pay visa fees in two months' time which she simply cannot afford to pay for:

We hope you will be able to sign & circulate the petition and thank you for your amazing support!
