Dear Friends and Supporters! The day has finally arrived - tomorrow, Thursday 17th March 2016 at 3pm we will be handing the petition over at 10 Downing Street asking for a Parliamentary Debate to discuss the remaining demands of the petition, namely to change the Adult Dependent Relative Rule of the Immigration Rules which has not only had a negative impact on Myrtle's case (prior to our joint resounding success, thanks to you!) but which still prevents many other British citizens (and persons permanently settled in the UK) like Mary and her husband Dave to look after their vulnerable relatives during a time when they need their care most. Myrtle, Mary and her husband as well as Myrtle's legal team will be at 10 Downing Street at 3pm. We will also hold a press conference at 1 pm at 1 Northumberland Ave, London WC2N 5BW. We would like to thank you once more for your absolutely mind-blowing support for the petition. Every one of you has changed more than one life, leading to a positive outcome in Myrtle's case and bringing her whole family peace of mind knowing that Myrtle will be able to live out her days in the loving presence of her daughter and son-in-law. Let's hope that the Government will listen to the resounding message of the petition - namely that family matters - and let's hope our plea will be able to prevent further heart ache to so many others in Myrtle's position!
