As if nearly 15,000 signature to our Food Network petition wasn't enough proof there is demand of for a vegan cooking show, the “Oscars of food, fashion, and lifestyle media,” also known as the Taste Awards, has nominated New Day New Chef –  an all vegan cooking show, for eight sought-after categories.

The show hosted by vegan journalist and activist Jane Velez-Mitchell, stormed into uncharted territory on Amazon Prime, becoming the first all vegan cooking show of its kind on a mainstream platform. After a successful debut in the United States and United Kingdom in February 2020, the show quickly expanded to Australia, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand.

Thanks to New Day New Chef for proving our point and congratulations! Now it's the Food Network's turn.
