Thanks so much to everyone who has been supporting us in our petitioning, outreach, and collection of information towards our argument for keeping the Evergreen Gallery on TESC campus! We now have 355 signatures on our online petition and over 340 signatures on our physical petitions totaling over 695 signatures in support of keeping the gallery!! Please continue to spread the word about this as we move into Winter quarter. We have been busy getting all of our information organized, scheduling meetings, and making announcements at meetings about our petitioning. Just a quick update for everyone: The student organizers for this petition, Zoe Kolln & Pamela Davis, will be meeting with Micheal Zimmerman (Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost) and Thomas L. Purce (TESC President) the first week of Winter quarter. Following those very important meetings, they will also be making appearances in front of the board of trustees in mid January and they also plan to arrange meetings with Scott Coleman (TESC Academic Dean), Andrew Reece (TESC Academic Dean), and David McAvity (TESC Academic Budget & Space Dean) to address this issue. We will be keeping everyone informed about this issue to the best of our ability via this page, email, and our change.org campaign page here: https://www.change.org/p/the-evergreen-state-college-s-provost-administration-place-the-evergreen-gallery-back-onto-the-evergreen-state-college-s-state-operating-budget If you haven't had the chance to sign the petition online or in person you can follow the link above and show your support!
