Hello

Once again thank you for your support.

This is a tale of two St Albans. On one side, a wealthy public school, already generously resourced, was given land in trust for playing fields. That same school now stands to sell it on for a reported £75 million — an astonishing windfall. Their glossy website talks about how their pupils are brought safely to school on school buses.

Meanwhile, right across the road from their cash-cow, children in New Greens are pulled back by their parents from ‘Danger Corner’ where cars see the pavement as just more road — at the junction of Green Lane and Therfield Road. We’ve asked for a safe crossing. Our petitions were ignored.  Our meeting with Herts County Council an insult.  Those in power are very very quiet about how New Greens will cope with 4000 more cars a day.

Please share with all those who care about fairness.   Please ask anyone over 18 in your household to sign.

Thank you!

Damian
