The elimination of the wage charts for employees hired after February 1, 2013
The elimination of the wage charts for employees hired after February 1, 2013

Currently Canada Post is in negotiations with CUPW. The Union has repeatedly asked for a wage equality for the equal work done by employees hired after and prior to 2013. The corporation, in their proposals are not mentioning it once and thereby suggesting that they want to continue with a wide disparity between the wages for same work.
Ontario has ESA 2000 which makes sure that this discrimination is not entertained by the employers and employees should be paid "Equal Pay for Equal work". It is about time that Federal Government recognizes this at the least in a Crown Corporation, and encourages others to follow.
We the undersigned, urge you to instruct Canada Post to eliminate wage progression chart for employees hired on or after February 1, 2013 and Stop the Discrimination on the basis of Employment Status.
