A great news from Karnataka! Thanks to a proactive role played by IADVL, Karnataka state branch led by Dr. B S Chandrasekhar and Dr. Uma Shankar N the state drug controller has agreed to support!!! He was convinced and was kind enough to extend all support from his side. He will be sending circular with strict instructions to all 21,000 pharmacies to stop OTC. He has also assured to distribute the posters for patient education to all pharmacies in a prominent places. Kudos to IADVL Karnataka, you always lead by example.
