This week, many of our nation’s Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) are testifying before Congress to advocate for veterans, military families, caregivers, and survivors.

VSOs do extraordinary work every day — helping veterans navigate benefits, file claims, access health care, and find support during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

If you’re interested in watching the hearings and learning more about the issues they’re raising, you can view them here:

A small idea:

🎉🥳Perhaps Congress could consider establishing a National VSO Appreciation Week, similar to Nurses Week or Teachers Week — recognizing the thousands of professionals and volunteers who dedicate their time to serving our veterans and their families.

Thank you to all the VSOs across the country for the work you do for our service members, veterans, and their loved ones.

As Chairwoman Mace recently said during a hearing:

“There’s still a lot of work that needs to be done.”

Bipartisan support for our veterans matters. 💜🇺🇸
