After watching the most recent House Veterans’ Affairs hearings, it’s clear that many of the issues discussed — fragmented care, delayed diagnoses, lack of interoperability, and accountability gaps — have been known for years.

Veterans and families are tired of all talk and no action. Oversight without implementation doesn’t fix systems — it just delays change.

Reform cannot take decades to implement. Interoperability and transparency are not radical ideas — they are common sense.

This is why my reform effort matters. Veterans deserve coordinated, modern care now, not in another generation.
