To fight for change for our mental health services in Guernsey and for Action to be Taken

The Issue

So According to our Health and Social Care deputy here in Guernsey Deputy Heidi Soulsby claims that our Guernsey Mental Health Services, by an external reviewer is of a high standard. Whilst this might be her impression, this fact is far from true. Many people are being refused the help and support that they desperately need to help support them with their mental health, many people in crises not being offered support, the long waiting lists, the lack of therapy, compassion and understanding that thus service is providing is destroying lives and we are losing so many people to a failing mental health system. What on earth does it need to take for our government to listen, for our voices to be heard, for asking for a service that treats people regardless of the severity of their mental health, we need a service that is fair, equal and provides a range of therapies, support and treatments to meet indivuals needs of mental health which sometimes can be very complex

No one is listening to our cries for help, our voices and it's destroying lives and impacting so many

we are no longer going to accept this. When is our Government, our Mental Health Services and HSSD going to stop burying their heads in the sand and not see the reality of this

So together we are going to fight, we are going to make change happen, we are going to face the government and media head on with the reality and the truth of a failing system, before it's too late Again

it is time for change, it is time to get a fair, equal, sustainable and improved mental health services for everyone in our community who needs support

So together let's stand and fight for this change to happen, before any more lives are lost
