Mahavir Singh Rekhi has no right to practice veterinary medicine after brutal footage shot by employees at the clinic he works at (Skyway Animal Hospital on Welland Avenue in St. Catherines, Ontario) showed him ruthlessly, needlessly abusing animals. In addition to this, testimony from former employees clearly displays his lack of remorse regarding his behaviour.

According to a recent CTV news article, "Dr. Mahavir Singh Rekhi...has been suspended for ten months after being found guilty of professional misconduct by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) this summer." (Read the full article here.) Despite his psychopathic behaviour, he could be practicing veterinary medicine again in as little as two months. This mentally deranged individual could be in contact with pets again in 60 days! 

This is not right. This should not happen.

The goal of this petition is to demand that the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) not only revisit this horrifying case but also unequivocally revoke Mahavir Singh Rekhi's ability to treat animals as he obviously does not have their care or best interests in mind. 

What are you standards, CVO? Do you have any? PROVE IT!
