Thank you so much to everyone who lent their voice to this important cause. Whether you simply signed this petition, left a supportive comment, or shared on social media, the number of signatures we collected was a huge factor in making this happen, so thank you so much for your support. Action Bronson is still being welcomed by NXNE to appear at a private venue in the city, and NXNE is a government funded festival, so that makes this victory a little bitter sweet. It illustrates that we have to keep pushing hard for sexism to become a dirty word in our society. Let's not rest in the fight against misogyny until women can feel safe walking alone at night, across Canada and across the world. It doesn't have to be this way.
