A draft of the Duluth-Superior Transportation Improvement Program has been released. The document determines how transportation dollars will be spent over 2022-2025, and it includes nothing about rethinking I-35. It does however call for spending $14 million on improvements that will extend the life of the corridor, pushing the date for possible conversion further down the road.
 
How does spending millions on maintaining the status quo accomplish the goals of the Metropolitan Interstate Council? Could putting some of that money towards evaluating what we've proposed get us closer?
