ACT NOW: Pritzker's 2nd shutdown will destroy Illinois for good

Illinois Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Lori Lightfoot have BUNGLED the response to the coronavirus pandemic. They are responsible for the deaths of thousands of citizens. They have hurt kids, prevented people from getting tested for cancer and heart disease, they have caused suicides and destroyed businesses - permanent harm. 

And now they are GOING TO DO IT AGAIN with a second shutdown. Gov. Pritzker's new harsher Tier 3 "mitigations" go into effect STATEWIDE on Friday. Retailers will be forced to operate at 25% capacity or less. Personal services will be destroyed by the new 25% capacity rules. Suspension of services where face coverings are now allowed and the Governor is targeting restaurants with no indoor dining essentially making restaurant dining next to impossible. Thousands - no millions of jobs are being destroyed. 

All because Gov. Pritzker has IGNORED the science. He has selected picked and chosen which scientific advisors to listen to. Gov. Pritzker is not a doctor or a scientist. The head of the Illinois Department of Public Health has no experience in infectious disease or virology. She is a pediatrician. Gov. Pritzker's scientific advisors have told him that the "positivity" metric he is using to guide his shutdowns is not good "science." It is not the best metric to use and he has ignored that advice.
