On Saturday May 1st, President Nelson announced a change to the renovation plans. The murals and room to room progression of the Manti Temple will remain. A new temple will be built in Ephraim, Utah that will allow for greater capacity and easier access for patrons who had a hard time with all the stairs in the Manti Temple.

I want to thank each of you for signing and supporting this petition. It was mentioned in news articles. I believe there is power in speaking up, and then sustaining.  And that is what we did. While this petition may not be the only reason for the change of course, it must have played some role.
