Thanks to all of you the petition is moving.  It may never reach the numbers that Canada Post requires but it will be delivered and it will bring attention to reviewing what goes in.   We do not have a Community " Newspaper" as the Beachbooster claims to be and that is why it gets delivered. It is a community paper with slanted opinions and advertising.  You choose what you want in your mailbox,  that is the message to Canada Post.  There is a link to selecting a flyer or just share email if you know others are interested.  There is no cost to doing this so do not think you have to pay something.   Again, the point of the petition is about choice.  It is quite apparent that notes in the mailboxes are not working!. This is about ensuring everyone has a choice and mail is not dropped into our mailbox classified as a "Newspaper"  when it is not as you can request to stop delivery of flyers but when it is classified as a "newspaper" you cannot.
