Boycott Victoria's Secret

Boycott Victoria's Secret
The issue
As one of many fashion labels under the management of Limited Brands Inc., Victoria’s Secret not only utilises sweatshops such as those run by D.K. Garments in Jordan, but also factories known for Sumangali Scheme child labour across Southern India.
With girls as young as 14 trapped in bonded labour and foreign guest workers beaten for falling behind production quotas, Victoria's Secret wishes that it's consumers would focus upon the Angels of its extravagant fashion shows and ignore the miserable reality of its lingerie production.
Hidden behind lavish parties and the diamond-studded bras, multiple human rights are violated by Victoria's Secret, these include;
- Holding workers in servitude
- Subjecting workers to torture or to cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment and punishment
- Failure to offer workers reasonable working hours and periodic holidays with pay
- Exploiting children who thus forgoe an education
-
Denying worker's rights to a standard of living that is adequate for their health and well-being
By signing this petition you can help tell Victoria's Secret to end the use of inhuman labour and improve the working conditions in its supply chain!
