Long awaited outcome figures and this weeks consultation meetings

The National Services Division (NHS) has finally added information in respect of "outcomes" on their website. http://www.nsd.scot.nhs.uk/Documents/CleftOutcomesPaperv2.0.pdf Outcomes is the name given to a universal measurement of cleft surgical success. This is done by assessing a child's speech at 5 years and matching the results against national ratified and published standards. You will see from the document the wonderful results the Lothian team are achieving. The very same team NSD want to break up.
