There is a strong demand for gymnastics in East Vancouver which cannot be met with the current facilities.  The Britannia Gymnastics programs were filled to capacity within 3 minutes this fall with a large number of families on the waiting list.  We believe our neighborhood families should be able to meet their educational and recreational needs within their own community.

The City of Vancouver has approved funding for the renewal of Britannia Community Centre facilities in the 2014-2018 Capital Plan.  

This petition is part of a community initiative to have a gymnastics/multi-sport facility built as part of the Britannia Renewal Plan. We believe such a facility would have an extremely positive impact on our community.
