Today I read a Twitter post from the dad of Uzi, a fourth grader killed at Uvalde’s Robb Elementary School, one of the fourteen children and two teachers lost that day. His post just about broke me. He reported what happened as he and his family learned that Uzi would never come home:

We can’t let this become normal in America, we must put our children before the gun lobby.
