Yesterday the Director General of the BBC was questioned by MPs on SPOTY and Tyson Fury. He refused to answer a question by John Nicolson MP about whether Fury would have been on the shortlist had be made racist remarks. He also said that the BBC was 'not in a muddle' over the shortlisting, once again completely ignoring our complaint. The Rainbow Project in Northern Ireland along with Cara-Friend, HEReNI and the grassroots LGBT activist collective Fight4Equality have called a protest which will take place outside the SPOTY venue in Belfast on Sunday evening. We want the BBC, attendees and the assembled media to hear us loud and clear. There is no place for homophobia and sexism in sport. Can you help?
