Since starting this petition, the BBC has doubled down on their position. Their latest article Why BBC doesn't call Hamas militants 'terrorists' - John Simpson shows a commitment to holding ancient policy which is outdated and inaccurate.  We implore BBC leadership to change their stance for the sake of accurately depicting this moment in history.

On the 7th October Hamas deliberately carried out unquestionable acts of terror and as such must be defined as terrorists.
