The Bank of England are designing a new £50 note. Apart from the Queen, only one woman (Jane Austen) has featured on a bank note so far. In the interests of gender equality, who would be more appropriate to feature than the lady who bravely lead the suffragette movement, which just 100 years ago saw women get to vote in Britain for the first time. This has ultimately lead to female MPs and two female PMs. A lady who has the respect of all British people regardless of political leaning.
