Today it has been announced by the Australian Rugby Union that the Western Force has been axed from the Super Rugby Competition. The players, fans and administration are the most passionate and committed rugby followers in the country. The ARU had guaranteed the Force's Super Rugby participation until the end of 2020. 

Players and administrators will lose income and the fans their beloved Western Australian Rugby team. Rugby at this level must have a presence in W.A.
