I have been destroyed by a Church of England Safeguarding Officer for reporting abuse.  And Dame Butler-Sloss's attitude of preserving an abusing Bishop's reputation rather than enabling an abuse survivor, was apalling. Church of England Safeguarding is inadequate, and people such as Bishop John Gladwin and Dame Butler-Sloss and Dame Heather Steel are not independent and are biased to the Church's reputation and protection of important figures.

I want an end to voiceless victims of Church abuse, people left crying in anger and treated as insane. People left with their lives ruined while a 'Christian Church' dominates the media with their side drowning that of the victims.

I want an end to terrible patronziing statements such as the one where people like me were called 'The lost, the last and the least' by the Church that destroyed me, I want an end to lack of accountability in church safeguarding and I want all church survivors empowered, redeemed, and with a say in how the church investigates their complaints.
