Since 1988, public American presidential debates have been “moderated” by a private corporation financed exclusively by two political parties. This effectively limits what the American people are allowed to hear and has disenfranchised the American voter. A biased private corporation should not control who we hear and what we know.  Let's restore traditional League of Women Voters nonpartisan moderation of the debates.
