Why Keir Starmer? As a cross-party movement, Make Votes Matter supporters have a huge range of different views on him and his politics - some positive, some negative.

But we can all agree on one thing: if the Labour Party commits to electoral reform, we'll be a vital step closer to winning equal votes in UK general elections.

So whatever your politics and whoever you vote for, please add your name to the card and share it on social media. 16,000 signatures will be a very impressive Christmas card -  but we want as many signatures as possible before Christmas to ensure we cannot be ignored.

Keir Starmer has previously stated his openness to changing the voting system, and he is still setting his priorities as Labour leader, so now is the perfect time to put PR in the spotlight. We need to shout loud and clear that we care about democracy.

This petition coincides with a concerted push from within the Labour Party, with Labour members across the country asking the party to support PR. But they need our help to succeed, with pressure from outside the party as well as within. The time is now to take action!
