This year, the Electoral Reform Society (ERS) is electing its governing Council. The Council has ultimate responsibility for the governance and administration of the ERS and feeds into the Society’s campaigning and policy making processes. Every two years, 15 members of the Council are elected using the Single Transferrable Vote. The Council meets four times a year in London (expenses reimbursed) to discuss strategy, campaigns, policy, governance and finance. This is an opportunity to get involved in the campaign for electoral reform and help shape the important work that the ERS does. As a member of the Council since 2015, I have enjoyed having an inside view of ERS campaigns and met many fantastic people who make the ERS what it is. It’s been a great experience! The deadline for nominations to the Council is Wednesday, 18th October. You can nominate yourself here: http://e-activist.com/ea-action/broadcast.record.message.click.do?ea.url.id=1056383&ea.campaigner.email=6oHkS%2F7nEjibJXgCdoXFh0aF%2BegVuZ9O&ea.campaigner.id=bXXavP4D2NSZkArzVWMSmA==&ea_broadcast_target_id=0 Even if you wouldn’t like to stand for Council, why not join the ERS and vote? Have your voice at this crucial time in ERS history. Owen Winter
