What better way to show that you really care about someone?! 75,000 thousand people have so far signed the official gov.uk petition calling for Proportional Representation. Just 25,000 more are needed to secure a debate in Parliament, forcing our elected representatives to reexamine their position and giving us an opportunity to push for reform. Our campaign is really picking up pace. In February 2016, politicians of all parties came together for a cross-party PR alliance building conference - organised by Make Votes Matter. This led to an Early Day Motion for PR that has now attracted the support of more than 10% of MPs, and the formation of an All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Proportional Representation which held its inaugural meeting in November. The APPG is Chaired by Chuka Umunna and includes Conservative MP Ben Howlett, Green co-leader Caroline Lucas, Plaid Cymru MP Liz Saville Roberts, SNP MP Tommy Sheppard and Labour MP Paul Flynn.
